The object of this assignment is to get you ready to do the other assignments.

Send an email to david.eisenberg@evc.edu with 1) your name and 2) an alias I can use for posting scores.

I need the first piece of information because your email address might not necessarily be the same as your name. I need the second piece of information because I can't use your real name, social security number, or even college ID number when posting scores. So make up a name for yourself, and that’s how I will list your scores.

I will send you back an email with a username on our machine (205.155.157.59), and a password. I will add you to the list of users who can have superuser powers on the machine, so you won’t need a root password.
