You are to make a speech with a minimum length of 1.5 minutes. The topic is something you already know about—you. The speech must cover the following topics:

• School-oriented:
  • Your name.
  • Your major.
  • When you plan to graduate from EVC.
  • Where you plan to go after graduation from EVC.
• Personal/Family:
  • If you are working, what you do. If you aren’t, your ideal job.
  • Your favorite leisure time activity.
  • Your favorite sport to participate in or watch (and tell which).
  • Any social group(s) you belong to.
• Family:
  • Number of siblings and their ages.
  • Something interesting about one of your relatives (this can be good-interesting or bad-interesting; your choice).

Of course, to make this last 1.5 minutes, you will have to go into some detail; you just can’t give telegraphic sentences for all these topics. You must also have a transition between each set of topics.

You will be assessed using these criteria.
